My image is a collage titled “Vanities 2”. It is a printed background with cyanotypes pasted to it. I was doing monoprints at a senior center which I really enjoyed. The atmosphere and participants were congenial. But Covid changed that. I was stuck at home as were the others in the workshop. Our instructor, Karen, set up sessions with Zoom. Even though we didn’t have access to a printing press, we could still do prints at home. It has really worked out great. Karen inspired us to try new things, i.e. cyanotypes. Also to make colleges out of prints that were not so successful. Each week we meet virtually, show what we created. We inspire each other. I am thankful to Karen Bruckner for doing this.
