Youth & Family Ministry
Grace Church in New York offers a variety of programming for children, youth, and teens throughout the year. Please contact Chase Danford, Assistant Rector for Youth & Family Ministry, for more information about this vital ministry.
Nursery Care is provided for infants up to age 4. Childcare is available from 8:30am – 12:30pm and is located on the bottom floor of the Parish House.
Sunday School classes for children aged 4-12 are available during the 9am and 11am services. The classes offer the opportunity to learn about Jesus’ teachings within a structured curriculum.
Teens in middle school and high school are invited to join the Youth Group. Along with snacks and social time, the group discusses issues of faith and growing up; opportunities for service and outings are also available throughout the year.
Throughout the year, we offer fun and meaningful activities for the entire family. These include: the Halloween Carnival, Advent Wreath Making, Gingerbread House Building, the Christmas Pageant, and the Easter Eve Walk.
Acolytes are an integral part of the worship experience. By carrying a cross or a torch, and by helping the clergy during services, acolytes ensure that our worship reverently emphasizes the great symbols of the Christian faith and help the congregation focus on God.
