All are invited to play in this year’s game!Just bring some cash (or check) to the annual parish meeting and drop a few bills in the soup pot that corresponds to your Super Bowl team. We’ll have fun seeing which team raises more funds and also see if together we can beat last year’s generous total collection of $812 – all of which goes directly to local food ministries!

  • The Sunday Forum: T.S. Eliot’s “Journey of the Magi”

    Sun, February 2 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
    Reception Room

Before and After the Celebration: T.S. Eliot’s “Journey of the Magi” deals with the realities of traveling to the Celebration and of coping with its aftermath.  The poem emphasizes the difficulty of both, and of the question one of the Wise Men was left with:  “Were we led all that way for Birth or Death?”  Eliot thus reminds us that Epiphany bridges but also links the Nativity of Jesus with his Crucifixion, a fact that inspired a whole tradition of earlier poems. Led by Parishioner Dr.Diana Benet, Professor Emerita at the University of North Texas.
